What are the different types of videos?

Learn the difference between the Webseries, Zoom-In, Zoom-Out, and Zoom-Act!

Webseries

The cornerstone of moozoom is our Webseries. These engaging videos address social-emotional issues arising from students' daily lives using compelling stories and relatable characters. The students choose how they would react to a challenging situation and create their own stories. The Webseries is the longest of our videos ranging between 15-22 minutes. In our 2021-2022 Webseries season, students are prompted to select the emotion they would feel if they were the character. From there, students will be asked to select the ideal reaction between the three proposed. In our newest season (2022-2023), after students choose an emotion, a less-than-ideal reaction will play related to the emotion selected. Then, students will be asked to choose between two better choices.

Zoom-Out

During our Zoom-Out modeling videos, characters encounter difficult situations and act out steps to help them resolve their conflict. Students learn how to navigate conflict by taking the other person’s perspective and calmly expressing their emotions. Students first see a less-than-ideal reaction and are then gradually presented with the most ideal reaction for the situation.  Zoom-Out videos average 5-7 minutes and are only available in our 2021-2022 season.

Zoom-Act

Guided by our artificial intelligence character, Mira, students will go on a sequential social-emotional-related mission. To accomplish this mission, students must choose responses carefully. Students learn the steps to make the right choices and understand the perspective of others. Zoom-Act videos average between 5-7 minutes in duration and are only available in our most recent season (2022-2023).

Zoom-In

In our Zoom-Introspection videos, characters undergo and work through social-emotional scenarios that are very relatable to students. The interactive episodes in our newest season (2022-2023) ask students to choose between characters and listen to their perspectives. Students can see the characters' conclusions and strategies used to manage the situation or help their friends. The Zoom-In videos range between 2-5 minutes in length.
